"To know what we know is what we know, and that we do not know what we do not know, that is true knowledge" - Confucious. As a kid, I had always thought that the more knowledge you have, the more you know. Seems axiomatic enough, right? But now the older I get, the more I'm beginning to realize that the more I know, the more I realize that I don't know much in the context of an infinite universe, and that there is so much more to know. But for some reason, with the knowledge I acquire as an older person, I feel much more secure in my understanding of things and my thoughts. And Despite the thoughts being more gray instead of black and white, the thoughts regarding the knowledge seem more true. I guess that's what Confucious meant: that when you realize you don't need to know everything, but only that which you know, this is the sign of true knowledge. In this new feature of Fresh Alloy, I will endeavor to impart my "true knowledge", or at least my "opinion" to you, the readers, in response to your 'automotive' letters. Think of me as your "Dear Abby" of the automotive world. Every week, I will respond with a set of featured "Dear Cabby" letters from you and to you, our Fresh Alloy audience. It will be like our own little automotive community, filling in and imparting of our automotive knowledge to and with each other. No topic is too taboo, anything from technical issues about towing 420's behind your vehicle to 'dragging' 420's IN your vehicle. Best for the Money
Dear Cabby,
I think all your loyal followers for the past... 4 days should know a little bit aobut the person that we're going to bare our automotive soul to. If you had $50,000 to buy a car, what car would it be? What about 100,000?
Ambassador Car
Dear Cabby, I've always been a big fan of the Ambassador car from India. It's roomy and sporty, like an old taxi cab. Any chance this car will show up in the US anytime soon?
